Chrisopher O'Riley has hosted NPR's showcase of young classical musicians, From the Top, for nearly 20 years. But his latest performance was in a hit off-Broadway show, Symphonie Fantastique. O'Riley's theatrical debut has launched other career aspirations, opening up an opportunity for the show's star alumni - along with some the greatest classical musicians before the public - to share the host duties.
Begining Saturday, September 15, on Classical HQR, From the Top welcomes its guest hosts beginning with show alumnus Peter Dugan! A concert pianist, Dugan appeared on the show in 2007, and has since performed as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician across North America and around the world.
