Jemila Ericson

Host, Classical Music and Midday Interviews

It took Jemila a long time to decide what she wanted to be when she grew up. She is now primarily an actress and storyteller who fell into Public Radio announcing and discovered she loved it.  She has worked for WHQR off and on for thirteen years. In addition to racking up film and TV credits whenever she can, Jemila frequently performs weddings (as an ordained interfaith minister), and still misses another favorite job— as a shepherdess to a flock of thirty sheep in the mountains of NC. She is currently studying to be an animal communicator.
