Michelle Bliss
Graduate Intern

Michelle Bliss is an MFA student in the Creative Writing program at UNCW as well as a teaching assistant for the film studies department. She is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech where she majored in Creative Writing. During her time in Blacksburg, Michelle served as general manager for the campus and community station WUVT and was a news intern for WVTF, the NPR affiliate in Roanoke, VA. Michelle moved to Wilmington in the spring of 2007 and has since bought a house with her husband Scott. Along with playing at the beach, Michelle loves walking her dog Katie around Greenfield Lake and reading in her hammock.
