Marina Giovannelli moved to Wilmington just in time
for the summer. Before starting as WHQR’s public affairs reporter, Marina worked at Morning Edition; Talk of the Nation
and the Science Desk at National Public Radio headquarters in Washington D.C.
Marina was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Diego California,
where she attended the University
of California San Diego.
There, she studied Environmental Chemistry and covered science for the
university newspaper.
In addition to covering
public affairs, Marina’s
reporting will focus on immigration and environmental issues. She is
tremendously excited to be in Wilmington,
and can’t wait to meet all of the colorful characters in this growing city! |
