David Howell

David Howell came to WHQR from a marketing agency where he worked as an account executive and copywriter. He received his Master of Arts in Literature from Appalachian State University and a Master of Fine Arts from UNC Wilmington in 2007. He hopes to see the radio station continue to grow in the future by providing Southeastern NC reliable Public Radio it can count on for the best in news, music, and community interaction. WHQR and Public Radio are second only to his first passions which, of course, are filming alpacas in the alps and pretending to be a great poet.
