Robyn Joy Chapman

Robyn Joy Chapman was born in Sydney, Australia. She began her career as a photographic airbrush artist, receiving many commissions from prominent photographic organizations in Sydney.  After the introduction of digital retouching, her profession as an airbrush artist gave way to computers, so she turned to professional art, and her paintings immediately found an enthusiastic audience.

In just a few years Robyn has had several highly successful shows in Sydney, and has sold her distinctly original and colorful paintings throughout Australia, New Zealand, U.S.A., Europe, Canada and the United Kingdom. "I have always had a passion for gardening, so it is not surprising that some of my favorite subjects are flowers. I draw my inspiration from the colors God has created, and bringing them indoors in the form of art, can really enhance any decor," says Chapman. Robyn's subjects include flowers, fruit, seascapes, boats and landscapes. Her style is contemporary and her medium is acrylic on canvas.  In 2004 Robyn moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where she now resides with her husband, Gerald Holland. Since moving here, Robyn has sold her art all over the USA and was awarded first place in E-bay’s Artists Choice Awards in 2005 for her seascapes.
